Wynn Resorts has tapped global marina network IGY Marinas to be the marina operator for the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island facility.
The property, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, plans to feature a 101-berth superyacht marina that welcomes vessels up to 85 meters in length.
The MarineMax subsidiary will assume a number of roles, including advising on marina design and development, counselling on pre-advisory services, attending to post-opening management, and providing marketing services. British consulting company Marina Solutions International is involved in the project’s design.

“Our involvement in the Wynn Al Marjan Island project represents a significant milestone for IGY Marinas. We are excited to build on our existing presence in marina management in the Middle East and contribute to the creation of a world-class destination for yachting and gaming enthusiasts,” said Steve English, CEO of IGY Marinas
The parties have been working on the marina since 2022, with the Island planned to launch in 2027.
“MSI has been working closely with Wynn Resorts on the Al Marjan Island Marina project since 2022. Our involvement from the start has been to provide an extensive feasibility study for the marina, establish its market position, provide conceptual and detailed marina designs and operational consultancy. We’re delighted that we could support Wynn and assist in the process of selecting a world-class operator in IGY. This marina is a huge opportunity for the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to establish itself as a yachting destination. We look forward to the continued development of the marina and, once open, to seeing its success unfold long into the future,” said James Beaver, Director at Marina Solutions International (MSI).

Additionally, the resort is set to include over 1,500 rooms and suites, lounges, restaurants, a bar, a casino and retail and entertainment options.
This project marks IGY Marinas’ second in the Middle East. In June 2024, the marina operator was appointed to manage Sindalah Marina, located in Saudi Arabia’s NEOM, and as the manager of Sindalah Yacht Club the following year.
