The downtown and waterfront project, located in Muscat, Oman, spans approximately 2.6 million square meters of the Al Khuwair District. The five key areas are a yacht marina, beaches and sports facilities, a canal walkway and a Ministry campus.

The ministry confirmed that the project is on track to start construction by the end of 2025.

Construction for the development is slated to begin by the end of 2025.

Elsewhere in the Sultinate, the Khor Grama development project has appointed multi-disciplinary consulting firm Meridian Engineering Consultancy (MEC) to design and supervise the construction of a superyacht marina that operates at a capacity of 75 berths for yachts and accommodates a further 20 berths for excursion boats.
