Yas Marina, one of the Middle East’s biggest marinas, has affirmed its position as a leading luxury tourism hotspot after it was granted a “Superyacht Ready” designation by the Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA).

The achievement, the first to be granted in Abu Dhabi, confirms that the marina holds up to international standards for superyachts in all areas: infrastructure, facilities, operational readiness, service, and crew wellness.

Yas Marina, which accommodates 227 berths for vessels up to 175 meters, is the second facility in the UAE to receive this accreditation, following Dubai Harbour – which received it in 2024.

Oman’s Al Mouj Marina received this recognition in September 2024. Meanwhile, Ayla Marina, located in Aqaba, Jordan, received a “5 Gold Anchor” this past February.
The Yacht Harbour Association, created to support marinas in the UK and internationally, established the Superyacht Ready accreditation, available to marinas that possess the minimum specifications to provide safe and adequate superyacht berthing.
