Al Rams, a coastal development in the UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah, is set to receive a major upgrade project, the Emirates Council for Balanced Development has announced.
The first of two projects, Al Rams Waterfront, features the development of Al Rams Marina and Al Rams Corniche. This development falls as part of a broader effort by the UAE to improve the quality of life of its villages through infrastructure upgrades.
A refurbishment of Al Rams Boulevard rounds out the project’s aims. It is set to feature a 2-kilometer waterfront and green spaces. The Council plans to poison the area as a cultural and social avenue.
To improve touristic appeal and add a visual identity to the destination, the project will boast a heritage-inspired landmark to showcase Emirati culture.
