Accreditation group The Yacht Harbour Association is hosting the 2026 Marina Awards, and a number of properties from the Middle East are in contention for the prize.

The awards, which consist of eight categories, are open to any Marina which has received a “Gold Anchor” designation by TYHA.
Voting closes August 28th. Winners will be announced on September 23rd during the Southampton International Boat Show.
Decided by public vote, the categories comprise: Marina Employee of the Year, Coastal Marina of the Year – under 250 berths and over 250 berths, Inland Marina of the Year, International Marina of the Year, and Superyacht Marina of the Year, Marina Team of the Year and the Sustainable marina of the year.

Facilities eligible for the awards include Yas Marina, the first property in the UAE to be upgraded to 5 Gold Anchor status. Aqaba’s Ayla Marina, which received its 5 Gold Anchor Accreditation in February 2025, is also nominated. Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, meanwhile, was awarded this designation in June 2025. Al Mouj Marina, Emirates Palace Marina, Dubai Harbor, Dubai Creek, Dubai Marina Yacht Club, and The Pearl are among other MENA properties in consideration.
