Azimut-Benetti Group took advantage of the Cannes Yachting Festival in Cannes France to announce the results of the shipyard’s 2023-2024 fiscal year results.
The group disclosed revenue for the year going up by 55%, during a four year period, increasing to €1.3 billion, compared to €840 million in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.
CEO Marc Valle attributed the group’s “position of strength” to the order backlog, which is reported to be at €2.6 billion as it extends into 2029.
Order distribution for Azimut-Benetti indicates 23% comes from the Middle East and Asia, while Europe dominates the segment with 40%, and the Americas trail behind with 37%. Moreover, the report puts forward a €160 million investment plan dedicated to areas such as production capacity enhancement (€99.3 million), digitization projects (€13.9 million), and research and development (€43.2 million).
