M-Marinas Completes Portfolio-Enhancing Management Term with Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Island Marinas

M-Marinas by Porto Montenegro, a developer and operator for properties in the Mediterranean and the UAE, has announced the completion of its operational growth mandate with Nakheel, the Dubai-based master developer.

The partnership, agreed upon in October 2023, saw the Marina Management Platform enhance the offerings of Nakheel’s waterfront developments.

Palm Jumeirah Marina – Dubai, UAE

Palm Jumeirah, the 261-berth facility accommodating yachts up to 40 meters in length, benefited from the addition of social and on-water events. At the same time, Dubai Island Marinas experienced year-on-year increases in occupancy and visibility. The marina operates at a 248-berth capacity, with 13 slips for vessels up to 47 meters in length.

In addition, operational systems, staff training frameworks, and customer service processes have been added to Nakheel’s operations, which became part of Dubai Holding Group in 2024.

We were brought in to enhance performance, raise standards and activate the marinas, and under the leadership of General Mangers – Gregg Davis and Oliver Rees, we achieved that,” said Tony Browne, Director of Marinas. “The assets are now stronger, better performing and well-positioned for their next chapter under Dubai Holding.”
