Old Doha Port Partners with Regional Marinas in Turkey and Dubai

Qatar’s Old Doha Port announced agreements with Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace Marina and Turkiye’s Kiyi Istanbul Marina as part of its marina members program.

The new partnership aims to provide expanded privileges to the marina members and visitors, where owners can present their membership cards to the partner marinas to access advanced booking on complimentary docking and preferential services on marina services.

This builds upon Old Doha Port’s existing partnerships with local marinas in Qatar, including Ronautica Middle East, Corinthia Yacht Club at The Pearl Island, Al Mourjan Marinas in Lusail, Emirates Palace Marina in Abu Dhabi, and Kiyi Istanbul Marina.

Old Doha Port is home to the Qatar Boat Show, which will hold its second edition from 5-8 November. The event attracted more than 23,500 visitors and saw exhibitors from 11 countries with 74 vessels displayed across the 250,000 square meter venue. Several international and regional luxury boat builders took part, including Benetti, Oceanco, and Gulf Craft.

Earlier this year, Old Doha Port launched Minakom, a digital customs and passport portal created to facilitate the smooth entry of foreign-flagged superyachts into Qatar without the need to disembark ashore. The platform allows cruisers to sort out logistical needs, from passport control to customer clearance and other maritime services.
