A superyacht marina is coming to the UAE. At the International Real Estate Investment Summit, a new facility was announced for Ras al Khaimah’s Mina Al Arab.
Located on Raha Island, the project plans to welcome a diverse range of pleasure vessels, including berthing facilities for superyachts.

RAK Properties, the developer behind Raha Island, announced the destination in May 2024 as a luxury hub. Construction for the project is expected to start after neighboring development, Hayat Island, is complete, according to RAK Properties CEO Sameh Muhtadi. “In about a year and a half, Hayat Island should be fully built,” Muhtadi said. “At that point, our attention will turn to Raha Island, where the inner harbour will be dedicated to smaller boats, and the new marina will cater to larger superyachts.”

Mina Al Arab is a four-million-square-meter coastal community, spanning two interconnected lands, featuring luxury hotels, residential, and leisure offerings. The three districts of the $1.3B project comprise Raha Island, Hayat Island, and Lagoons.
RAK Properties is a leading publicly listed property developer based in Ras Al Khaimah. Its financial results, ending September 30,2025, delivered revenue of AED 1,165.50 million for the third quarter of 2025, and a net profit of AED 216.82 million.
