Saudi Red Sea Authority issues yacht charter licenses for the first quarter of 2026

The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has granted a number of yacht charter licenses, the first in 2026 thus far.

The authoritative body, which oversees the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s coastal tourism activity, has issued permits to Mayassar Nooraldeen Al-Haddad Company, Seem Prime Company and Ocean Breeze Company.

SRSA was formed in 2021 to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s maritime tourism efforts, as the country continues to grow its offerings as a superyacht hub. Over the past three years, SRSA has strengthened collaboration among relevant parties by issuing licenses and permits, developing strategies and policies, adding safeguards to protect the marine environment, and determining requirements for marine infrastructure.

Last month, SRSA announced the appointment of Dr. Maryam Ali Ficociello as the new chief executive officer.

The regulator issued Saudi Arabia’s first yacht chartering licenses in December 2024. The first group included Faisal M. Higgi & Associates Co. Ltd., Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo, Hill Robinson, JLS Yachts LLC, GAC, and HASCO Group.
