AMAALA and Shura Island, two of Red Sea Global’s marinas located on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast, have received Global Operating Licenses.
The permits, granted by the Saudi Red Sea Authority, recognize the facilities’ high standards of marina operations and environmental vigilance, and their readiness to welcome yachts.

The two marinas offer a combined 278 berths. AMAALA, launched in September 2026, caters to 119 berths, while Shura Island operates at a capacity of 159 berths. Both properties welcome yachts of up to 120 meters in length.

Red Sea Global has brought the marinas, situated 2,000 miles from the yachting hotspot of Monaco, together to create Yachting Network, an integrated marina and yacht club operator with services offered under a single management company.
“AMAALA and Shura Marinas are designed to meet the expectations of the world’s most sophisticated travelers. From superyacht berthing to seamless marine services, we are disrupting the traditional global yachting circuit by introducing a new seasonal home for the world’s most discerning yacht owners and operators,” said Raed Albasseet, Group Chief Environment and Sustainability Officer at RSG

The Saudi Red Sea Authority is a government entity formed in 2021 to build and regulate the coastal tourism sector in Saudi Arabia. Over the past three years, SRSA has enhanced integration between the relevant parties by issuing licenses and permits, developing requisite strategies and policies, adding safeguards to preserve the marine environment, and determining the requirements for marine infrastructure.
The authority previously awarded operator license to Jeddah Yacht Club, Aljar Marina tourism company (Yanbu), Al Ahlam Marine Tourism in Albuhairat city (Jeddah), and Pearl Marina Chartering Company (Jeddah).
