Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina is the Kingdom’s first west coast marina.

According to TYHA, the award was established in 2014  “to improve marina standards and the experience of marina users.” Independently audited by industry experts, Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina passed the first assessment, which evaluated its operations, customer service, safety, and environmental measures.

“Achieving Five Gold Anchors at first assessment is the highest level within the programme and reflects the dedication, professionalism, and consistency delivered across every part of the marina experience,” said Marine Operations Director Oriel Blake. “It is also a proud milestone for Jeddah and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the Red Sea’s growing position on the global yachting map and supporting the ambitions of Vision 2030 to develop a world-class maritime and tourism sector.”

As Saudi Arabia’s first West Coast marina, Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina was granted an operator license by the Saudi Red Sea Authority.  With 95 berths, the Marina caters to vessels up to 120 meters in length.

Other facilities in the Red Sea to receive this award include Aqaba’s Ayla Marina, which was given the distinction in February 2025.
